Every year, our church has a harvest night event on 10/31 because we don't encourage kids to go trick or treating.
This year, the program was better than past years. It didn't provide dinner this year, but it had a huge slide and small prizes. Kids could get candies in every booth, and there were yummy cookies decoration activity, and kids could get fresh cotton candies or popcorns after they visited 5 booths. Personally, I thought that it had more fun than trick or treating.

Our church does not have activity on Halloween night.
We went to an American church for the Harvest fun night. It was fun. Lots of candy and games....
I do think that the harvest night in the church was more fun than trick or treate.
Phil does not allow anyone in the house to go out on Halloween Night each year. He said it's dangerous to go out on 10/31 night.
Actually, it's not that dangerous, I think.
