A Meaningful Baby Shower

On 10/9, we attended a very meaningful baby shower.

Our 3rd Service coworkers, Mutti and Motif, are going to have their first son in November, and A Hao organized this baby shower for them. Usually, baby showers are about games, sharing, gifts and a big cake; however, this baby shower was about digging the dirt, removing the weeds, mowing the lawn and assembling the bookshelves. Since beautifying the front curb and having the bookshelves assembled are what this couples wanted to get done before the baby arrives, helping them to get closer to their goal will be a gift to them and to show our love to them.

Actually, Ha and Hee liked to attend this kind of baby shower, too because playing with the gardening tools was one of their favorite activities. Stephen went with Motif to buy more tools and bricks, and Ha, Hee and I and other friends pretended that we were "Amigos" hired by M&M from Home Depot. We worked hard, but the work has not completed yet because we were not professional amigos.

Anyways, it's a fun and meaningful baby shower, and we truly wish that M&M can have a healthy, smart, cute baby next month.
