This morning, deputies responded to a mountain lion sighting in Cupertino. A passerby spotted a mountain lion sleeping in a tree between Clubhouse Lane and Mira Vista Avenue off McClellan Road. Upon arrival, deputies cleared the immediate area, including the McClellan Ranch, and a Fish and Wildlife warden arrived to assess the scene. The aforementioned section is still blocked off as the mountain lion has not moved.
Per Fish and Wildlife, there is no present danger involving this mountain lion and the agency feels that the best course of action is to wait until the mountain lion walks away. In the meantime, Fish and Wildlife agreed to assign the warden to stay with the mountain lion – we also have a deputy with the warden – until he disappears hopefully this evening. The warden will also return tomorrow morning to conduct follow up in the area. The roadway will be reopened at approximately 5:30 this evening..
The Sheriff's Office, however, would like to alert our residents to be cautious, especially small children, when passing through this area and call ‘911’ if the mountain lion is sighted. For any questions regarding Fish and Wildlife’s action, our residents are encouraged to contact them for answers.
我就決定去看看能不能看到山獅，因為這條路就在我們家附近，每天去散步都會經過。我好奇心極重，什麼新事物都會令我感興趣。老公當時不在家，下午3點多很熱，所以兩個小朋友不想跟去，我就自己去探險。從一條路去，路被封鎖，我就繞另一條，還是被封鎖，只好回家，傍晚散步再順便看。
傍晚出去散步，我跟兩個小朋友先走，老公在打電話，隨後過來，結果走了不同路。路已經不封鎖了，車子可以經過，但人行道還是走不過去。我們想走到高一點的地方看看可不可以看得到，可是要繞過去太遠，我們用走的，等走到天都要黑了。又決定回家開車，可是還沒走回家，天已經黑了，就算開過去也什麼都看不到了。
老公回來，他說他從另一條路走，有封路的小牌子，可是他看到有人走過去，也有人走過來，所以覺得路已經通了，他也經過了山獅區，不過1. 警察車的燈太亮 2.他也不知道該看哪裡， 所以他沒看到山獅。浪費啦！！！！如果是我走過去，我就知道在哪裡， 因為我在Nextdoor上已經看了他的照片和位置！！！

第二天早上六點多我就醒來，跟老公走過去看看，結果警察已經不在了，山獅也不在了。
晚上我們散步再經過，看到有NBC的轉播車在訪問人家（山獅早就走了，這個新聞慢了整整一天多），老公說他們好像有在照我們，我說哪有人照路過的路人甲的， 不過，晚上還是把新聞錄下來，第二天再來檢查有沒有這個新聞和有沒有照到我們。
結果真的有！！！我們上新聞了！！！！我這兩天在附近來回穿梭那麼多次，雖沒看到山獅，但上了新聞，也值得，好好玩！
為了怕NBC過幾個月把新聞撤掉，我拿相機把這段錄下來，再把照到我們的部分反覆出現加上慢動作，完全變成把自己當主角的一段Youtube新聞：
